Customer Segments

Create a saved customer group, review its preview, and refresh its members.

AI Segments are saved groups of customers. Naayya turns a natural-language description into an AI-generated rule that you can review, preview, and reuse.

Use them when you want to find a group once and reuse it for follow-up work.

Open segments#

  1. Go to Admin > Customers.
  2. Open Segments under Customers.

If you cannot open Segments, your role may not have access. AI Segments availability depends on your plan and whether the feature is enabled for your business. If the page says it is not on your plan or is not enabled, contact support about availability.

Create a segment#

  1. Click New segment.
  2. Describe the group in one clear sentence. Naayya generates a rule from your description.
  3. Select Preview and review the generated rule, member count, sample people, and any notes.
  4. Select Save segment only when the generated rule and preview match what you intended.

Examples:

  • "Customers who have not booked in 30 days"

Use one question you can check against real customer records. A preview is a chance to catch a group that is too broad or too narrow.

Refresh a segment#

Select Refresh on a saved segment before using it for a follow-up. The list shows its member count and when it was last refreshed. The people in a segment can change as they book, buy, cancel, or attend.

Review before acting#

Segments help you find a group. They do not decide what message to send.

Before acting, check:

  • The segment name and description
  • Last refresh time
  • Member count
  • Sample members
  • Whether the group matches your business intention

Open a segment to inspect its details and members. A saved group helps you find people; review who is in it before using it for outreach.
