The Email Designer lets you create professional marketing emails. Write and edit the email directly, or ask the Business Agent side panel to draft or change it for you - then refine, preview across devices, and save.
Creating an email#
Go to Admin > Templates and choose Create Email to open the designer. Start with a blank email or a library template. The workspace shows the email canvas next to editing controls.
To use AI, open the Business Agent panel and describe what you want: "Create a promotional email for our spring yoga intensive" or "Design a weekly newsletter with class highlights." The agent drafts the email and applies it to the canvas, where you can review and adjust it.
You can keep asking the agent for changes - "Make the header image taller" or "Add a section for customer testimonials" - or edit the email yourself at any point.
Example prompts that work well#
- "Create a welcome email for new customers with our class schedule"
- "Create an announcement for our new Saturday class"
- "Make a newsletter template with sections for featured classes and instructor spotlight"
- "Add a prominent call-to-action button that says 'Book Your Spot'"
- "Change the color scheme to use warmer tones"
Adding images#
Click Add image in the editor toolbar to open your business's image library. Select images you've previously uploaded or upload new ones.
Images in your library stay available across sessions, so build up a collection of your business photos, instructor headshots, and promotional graphics.
Preview modes#
Switch between desktop and mobile preview using the toggle in the preview header. Check both views before sending.
Desktop preview shows the full-width email layout as it appears in email clients like Gmail or Outlook on computers.
Mobile preview displays the responsive mobile view at a typical phone width. Text should be readable, images should scale appropriately, and buttons should be easy to tap.
Preview and refine#
Use the preview to check the email on desktop and mobile as you refine it. If the agent applies a new version, review the result again before saving.
Saving templates#
When your email looks good, click Save and close in the top right. Give your template a descriptive name like "Weekly Newsletter" or "Spring Intensive Promo." The template saves to your library where you can reuse it for future campaigns.
Saved templates appear in Admin > Templates where you can edit, duplicate, or archive them.
Version history#
Open Versions to see saved snapshots and restore one if a change didn't work out. Versions are saved snapshots, not undo history.
Sending test emails#
Before sending to customers, send yourself a test. Click Test Email in the top right, enter your email address, and check how the email looks in your actual inbox. Test emails help catch formatting issues or typos you might miss in preview.
You can send tests to up to 10 addresses at once, which is useful for getting team feedback before a major campaign.
Tips for better emails#
Keep it focused: Each email should have one main message or call to action. Multiple competing messages dilute effectiveness.
Use clear subject lines: Customize the subject line to match your voice and grab attention.
Test on mobile: Check the mobile preview before you send so text, images, and buttons work at a phone width.
Brand consistency: Set up your brand colors and logo in Admin > Settings > Brand before designing.
