The Admin Calendar shows confirmed bookings against the available capacity for upcoming classes. For past classes, use the attendance task in the Admin dashboard schedule and the session roster to review attendance.
Where to review class fill#
Start with:
- Admin > Calendar for booking and capacity indicators across the schedule
- Admin > Classes for a class series, its instances, capacity, and roster
How to read class fill#
For an upcoming class, the Calendar shows a booked count and capacity, such as
5 of 10 booked. When the count reaches capacity, the Calendar labels the class
Full. If a class has no capacity, it shows the booked count without a
capacity comparison.
For a past class, use the attendance task in the Admin dashboard schedule and the session roster to review how many confirmed customers attended. This is a separate view from upcoming booking capacity.
What to look for#
Consistently low fill#
Low fill can mean the class time, teacher, location, or format needs review.
Check:
- Time of day
- Day of week
- Teacher assignment
- Location
- Capacity or resource assignment
- Confirmed bookings in the Calendar
Consistently high fill#
High fill can mean customers want more capacity.
Consider:
- Reviewing the room or resource capacity
- Adding another class at a similar time if the schedule allows
- Reviewing the waitlist
- Moving the class to a larger location
High bookings but low attendance#
This needs a separate attendance check from the booking count.
Check:
- The past session's attendance task in the Admin dashboard schedule
- The session roster and its attendance states
- Repeated no-show patterns in customer activity
Use class fill with other signals#
Class fill is useful, but it should not be the only decision point.
Pair it with:
- Attendance rate
- Waitlist activity
- Customer feedback
- Teacher notes
- Repeat booking behavior
Common actions#
Improve a low-fill class#
- Open the class in Admin > Calendar or Admin > Classes.
- Confirm the capacity or resource assignment.
- Review confirmed bookings and recent attendance.
- Compare another time, teacher, location, or format if needed.
- Review the related customer activity before changing the schedule.
Manage a high-fill class#
- Check capacity and resource limits.
- Review the waitlist.
- Add another instance if the demand repeats.
- Keep the current teacher or format stable if that is useful for comparison.
