Use Admin > Products to create a class product. Choose Drop-in for a single class offer or Class pack for a pack with credits or unlimited use. For the membership product type, see Creating Memberships.
Quick Start#
- Go to Admin > Products and select New Product.
- Set Product group to Classes, then set Type to Drop-in or Class pack.
- Enter the Name, Description, and Price.
- For a Class pack, choose Class Limit: Limited or Unlimited. A Limited Class pack shows Credits; an Unlimited Class pack does not use a credit count.
- Review Validity when the form shows it. It appears for a limited digital product with more than one credit or an unlimited digital product. The choices are Expires a set number of days after first use and Never expires.
- Review Class Coverage, Offer Type, and Who Can Purchase.
- Select Create Product and check the product details before sharing its listing.
Step-by-Step Setup#
Basic Information#
Use a name that tells customers what they are buying, such as “10 Class Pass” or “Unlimited Class Pass”. Add a description that explains the classes covered and any terms you want customers to see.
Pricing & Credits#
The form shows Price for every class product. A limited Class pack shows Credits; an Unlimited product does not use a credit count. A Drop-in is a one-credit product and may not show Credits or Validity.
Validity period#
When the form shows Validity, choose Expires a set number of days after first use and enter the number of days, or choose Never expires. State the selected validity clearly in the customer-facing description.
Settings#
For class products, Offer Type is Standard or Intro Offer. Who Can Purchase is Everyone or Once Per Customer. The current creation form does not offer a separate Free Trial choice.
Class coverage#
Review Class Coverage in the creation form. Use the selector to choose whether the product applies to all standard classes or selected classes where that choice is available. Check the product detail page before sharing the offer. See Class Coverage for Products.
Sell a multi-session workshop as one pass#
If you use a Class pack for a workshop, check that the workshop sessions are scheduled and that the pack covers the intended classes. Review the customer booking flow before describing the pack as covering a series. For help choosing a format, see Workshop vs Course.
Buying a Class pack does not reserve every session automatically. Customers still need to book each included session, and each booking is subject to that session's capacity and booking rules.
Common Class Pack Examples#
Standard Class Pass#
Choose Class pack, set Class Limit to Limited, and enter the number of Credits customers should see in the offer.
Intro Package#
Choose Intro Offer and review Who Can Purchase before sharing the product. The current form does not offer Free Trial as a separate choice.
Workshop Series#
Use a Class pack only after checking coverage and the customer booking flow for every session. If the offer represents enrollment in a defined run, compare the course format.
Unlimited Pass#
Choose Class pack, set Class Limit to Unlimited, and then choose the product's Validity option separately.
Large Value Package#
Set the Credits and Validity explicitly, and put those terms in the customer-facing description.
Pricing Strategy Tips#
Credit-to-Price Ratio#
Use the visible Price field to set the amount for the offer. The creation form does not provide a recommended price per class.
Package Size Strategy#
Choose a credit count customers can understand alongside the selected validity. Keep the number of offers small enough for customers to compare.
Validity Period Strategy#
Choose a validity that matches how often the covered classes run. State the selected validity in the product description.
Best Practices#
Naming Conventions#
Put the class count or “Unlimited” in the name when it distinguishes the offer. Use Class pack and Drop-in when describing the product type to your team.
Credit Allocation#
Check Class Coverage before promising that a pack can be used for a specific class. For one-to-one services, use Service or Service pack under Services.
Validity Periods#
Use the exact Validity choice shown in the form and explain it in language customers can understand.
Category Organization#
Keep related class products easy to compare. Review their names, descriptions, coverage, and validity together before sharing them.
Changing a class pack later#
Reprice the existing class pack#
Open the existing product in Admin > Products and edit its Price field. Review the product details and customer-facing listing after saving.
Replace the class pack when the offer itself changes#
For a change to the offer's structure, review the product's Replace product flow and the effect on existing customer commitments before confirming. See Product Settings Guide.
After Creating Your Class Pack#
Open the product in Admin > Products and check its status, listing, validity, and class coverage. Confirm that the details match the offer you intend to share.
Next Steps#
Share the product's public listing after checking its name, description, validity, and coverage. For the customer-facing product page, see the public product guide.
Troubleshooting#
The product is not visible to customers: Review its status, public listing, and purchase settings.
A customer cannot use the pass for an expected class: Check Class Coverage on the product detail page and the class's booking options.
Validity is unclear: Review the selected Validity option and the terms shown to customers.
For a membership product, see Creating Memberships.
